Nike is giving the Air Max 95 a darker edge for the second half of 2026, tapping into one of streetwear’s most recognizable color palettes.
The upcoming pair puts Sergio Lozano’s iconic runner through a stealthy mix of black, dark grey and light grey, punctuated by vivid yellow accents. The result immediately calls to mind the unmistakable aesthetic of Batman, although this Air Max 95 is not an official collaboration with DC or the Caped Crusader.
Black mesh sets the foundation, while the Air Max 95’s signature layered side panels move through contrasting shades of grey, giving the upper added depth and texture. Pops of yellow land across the lateral Swoosh, tongue branding and visible Air units, injecting just enough contrast to bring the colorway to life without leaning too heavily into the Batman theme.
The dark treatment continues around the heel, where black and grey panels are paired with Nike Air branding and a subtle yellow Swoosh. Together, the details give the classic ’90s runner a distinctly stealth-inspired makeover.
The black-and-yellow Nike Air Max 95 is currently expected to arrive during Fall/Holiday 2026, with both men’s and kids’ sizing reportedly on the way. Pricing and an exact release date have yet to be announced.
Not a Batman collaboration—but with its blacked-out construction and signature hits of yellow, the resemblance is hard to miss.
