Jordan Brand is giving the Air Jordan 7 a colorful tennis-inspired makeover with the upcoming “Tennis Day” edition. Drawing from the vibrant spirit of 1990s tennis, the release brings Andre Agassi-era energy to one of Michael Jordan’s defining championship silhouettes.
The upper arrives in a mostly light grey construction, combining mesh, smooth leather overlays, and hairy suede across the toe and ankle. Black accents add contrast, while flashes of neon green and hot pink inject the loud, rebellious attitude associated with Agassi and Nike’s Air Tech Challenge era.
That connection feels especially fitting given the parallels between Jordan and Agassi, who both challenged the traditional aesthetics of their respective sports through bold colors and unmistakable personalities. Here, the influence remains subtle enough to complement rather than overwhelm the AJ7’s original design.
Bright green and pink details continue underfoot across the angular midsole, while a pink heel pull, green lining, speckled accents, and tennis-inspired tongue graphics complete the look.
The Air Jordan 7 “Tennis Day” is currently expected to release on September 9, 2026, landing just ahead of the US Open. Stay tuned for further details as Jordan Brand prepares to officially unveil the release.
