This summer, Nike Jordan teams up with Amsterdam-based brand Patta, to create a collection inspired by basketball, European streetstyle and African heritage.
For Patta creative director Vincent van de Waal, an opportunity to put a spin on his self-proclaimed ‘all time favourite’ sneaker – 1992’s Jordan VII – is an important moment. The designer dresses up the old school style in pale pink nubuck uppers with complementary chestnut overlays. Bolts of bright red at the tongue, sole and lining offer high impact contrast, while Patta branding at the outsole and heel tabs finishes the look to cool perfection.
