Fear of God’s streetstyle-smart creative director Jerry Lorenzo continues his collaboration with sportswear giant Nike to global critical acclaim. Inspired by Nike’s Air Raid, an offcourt classic from 1992, Lorenzo creates a future cult icon: the Fear of God Raid. Uppers are crafted from buttery smooth black suede and a bone-coloured rubber outsole with a translucent insert reveals Nike’s world-renowned Air technology. The Raids are fastened with toggled laces and finished with a crossed strap that replicates the original ’92 incarnation for a masterclass in retro appropriation and exceptional craftsmanship.
